About SALA 2019

The South Asian Literature and Art Festival showcases contemporary reflections of literature and arts from the sub-continent. This celebration will be held at the beautiful Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga.

The Montalvo grounds will come alive with attractions that run the gamut from bookstores, book-reading, children’s hands-on craft activities, writing programs, south asian food stalls, and art-related exhibitors. In addition, folk artists, bollywood pop up dancers, will represent the performing arts at the festival. There will be something for everyone and people of all ages.

The festival will feature highly acclaimed contemporary Indian Art collections, as also panel discussions that include Art, Literature, Poetry, and Cinema. In addition, local, national and international authors and artists will be represented in keynotes, panels, and on-stage presentations.
