Entertainment
Xpression Dance Group, a dynamic dance group was established in 2003. It presents Dances of India including Folk, Bollywood and Semi-Classical styles. Led by Artistic Director, Srividya Eashwar, presents traditional choreography blended with new techniques.

The group has performed at the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival and has created and co-produced FolkSi, the first Silicon Valley Folk Dance Festival. More recently they performed as the opening act for the very first Bay Area South Asian Film Festival (BASAFF) and the ‘Threads-Weaving Humanity’ celebrations at Montalvo.

Sthree Productions is an Indian dance company in the South Bay Area. Founded by Artistic Director, Sheetal Singhal, the company aims to promote and create awareness around the rich Indian culture through dance and music. Sheetal is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer but teaches both Indian classical, folk and film styles.

Shalini Saxena has been teaching Kathak of the Lucknow Gharana in the Bay Area for over two decades. Shalini Saxena Dance Academy has presented shows like Sur Shringar, Bahar-e- Sham and Shaame-e- Raqs with the collaboration of renowned artists of the Bay Area like Pandit Habib Khan and Dr. Jyoti Rout. In the past Shalini Saxena has been recognized as the Cultural Ambassador by Federation of Indo American Association and has been invited to serve as a judge in internationally well-known dance competitions sponsored by CCF, (Charitable Care Foundation) ICC and Sony Television.

One New Road is a San Francisco based Atelier committed to promoting and preserving craft traditions through sustainable practices and fair trade. The name of the brand is the street address of the owner - Shaheen’s grandparents’ home. Therefore, One New Road was founded as a deeply personal tribute to the memory of her grandparents and the nostalgic memories of the city she loves. Working with remotely located artisan communities in India to keep traditional textile techniques alive by developing exclusive, the brand designs limited-edition collections of scarves.

Kitabworld can be literally translated as – book-world. It was launched in 2016 by Gauri Manglik and Sadaf Siddique, with the aim of making South Asian culture more accessible and available for children in the US. It is an independent publishing house, run an online independent bookstore through facilitating the discovery and distribution of South Asian children’s literature. They conduct author interviews and feature guest posts on various topics too. Kitabworld had collaborated efforts with libraries, schools and other institutions, to attain the same.
Sarini's Creations specializes in costume jewellery. Sarina's Collection brings new creations and spectacular varieties of ethnic Victorian jewellery in silver and semi-precious gems along with exclusive freshwater pearls and Theva art. There are collections for various occasions and festivals.

Salma Arastu, is an artist based in the SF Bay Area. In her works, she tries to express her own identity and various philosophical aspects of one’s belief systems. She tries to create harmony by expressing the universality of humanity through her paintings, sculpture, and calligraphy. Having studied in India, lived in Iran and Kuwait, and settled in California, Salma thoughtfully brings together the influences from these lands, through her lyrical works.
